Pacific Star Marketing started in 1994 to serve the needs of small businesses with their graphic design projects. Over the years we have found that many clients began asking for help in other areas such as store design, in-store signage, marketing materials, or just brainstorming ways to help them increase their sales. According to Wikipedia, design is defined as a creative process — most often involving a client and a designer and usually undertaken in order to convey a specific message (or messages) to a targeted audience. Various methods are used to create and combine words, symbols, and images to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. I like to look at design as your silent salesperson. Having been on both sides (as a small business owner and also a designer) my goal for any type of design work that I do is to increase your sales, not to win design awards.
